Well, it looks like I’m gonna have to sneak into the industry through a window that some radio station intern just happened to leave open?
I know one thing, impatience and humility go together like oil and water... None the less, I know some one will say, “dang, who is this dude and how did he get in here?”
By then…. it’ll be to late! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Is Hip-Hop Really Dead?
Is HIP-HOP really dead?….. or is that phrase just another scare tactic thrown upon the unsuspecting fans as a smoke screen to a more deadly plan?
Something tells me that its one more shot at another “DIVIDE & CONQUER” scheme that alienates adolescents with its corresponding elders/pioneers of its art form!
Shoot, if I we’re scared of Revelations….errrr, excuse me, revolution, I to, would make the elders and pioneers of HIP-HOP believe it’s dead by giving more airtime to pointless videos, radio time to messege-less songs, and more endorsements to degrading music about one race/culture of people….
We must realize HIP-HOP itself is just a by-product of rappers mentalities; an ignorant expression by choice! It may sound like paranoia, but if I we’re at the top of the socio-economic system, “ILLUMINATI”, and I believed deep down that the power of sound could awaken people’s cerebral cortex, I too would devise a plan and certainly give it the traits synonymous to illusions….u see all one has to do is preoccupy the mind with something that appears complex while the true task, itself, is being carried out on a simple plain above all of the commotion!

Today (2009 Inauguration Day) is considered historical by most individuals that occupy planet earth….I don’t really get into “poli-tricks”, soooooo….I plead the 5th Amendment, if it even exists! LOL, no pun intended! Now that the confetti has fallen and the some people’s dreams have been fulfilled, it is time to pull out your measuring tape and see how long it takes to REALLY change Amerikkka’s good ole values! J. Jonah will be performing for the nation’s largest Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Oakland, CA. He will showcase his newest addition, “Finishline” feat. John Montgomery along with “Funkadelic Fresh” featuring Big Chris….I guess the question is……… are they ready?
The hook for FinishLine had to be strong and painful, so what I did was write a hook that I think Anthony Hamilton would sound good singing…
Since we all know I’m not able to get Anthony Hamilton, I enlisted the services of another comrade that I knew from my high school days at Cypress Falls named John Montgomery. This cat has the exact same feel and tone I was looking for, plus he was the next best thing I had besides getting the real Anthony Hamilton!
Anyway, we did what pros do and knocked it out in about an hour or so. All we are waiting on now is the final mix! Here’s where we are so far…. Let me know what you think….
P.S.- This track is gonna be a classic!
